TODAY’S BLOG
UPDATE: 9:52 AM At 10 AM we will open C6 and Renate’s Express. At 10:15 AM we will open The Heather Express. All other lifts will be closed today. We will make a decision on our night skiing operations by 12 PM today.

Good Wednesday morning! Well, the weather folks were pretty spot on when they claimed we were going to see some nasty weather. I’m not going to sugarcoat the situation, it is pretty slippery out here this morning. Schools are closed, so get those kids out here! There is a possibility that we could have some delays this morning, but as of right now, we’re all scheduled and ready to go at 9 AM. I will keep you updated here, so stay tuned! Our team has been out there all night grooming and will continue to groom until we make sure the surface is very rideable. So get up, scrape off that car, and take your time getting here, and we’ll see you on the slopes soon!

MITTEN LOVE PROMOTION: This is our way of celebrating Michigan’s incredible snow season! In honor of this amazing winter, we’re sharing spring with all Michiganders. Anyone with a valid season pass from ANY Michigan ski resort can ski or ride at The Highlands until March 22nd for just $25 per day, no blackouts. Must purchase in person at Resort Services.

2026 – 2027 SEASON PASSES ON SALE NOW: Renew your passes by March 19th for the lowest prices of the season. Don’t have a season pass, well it is your lucky day – buy a season pass and start using it now.

SNOWMAKING | GROOMING UPDATE
Thank a snowmaker! As of now, we are well covered, and there is no need to make snow. Thanks to them and our 24/7 grooming team, conditions could not get much better.

LIFT TICKETS, RENTAL, & SKI SCHOOL
Before heading to the hill, you should buy your lift tickets online for the lowest rates. Rentals and lessons should be reserved 24 – 48 hours in advance. We now have a Winter Bundle that lets you bundle lift, rental, and a lesson to customize your experience. We want it to be easy. Our Resort Services team is available in the Day Lodge to assist with any needs.

Today:
Snow showers, freezing rain, and sleet likely before 2pm, then snow showers, possibly mixed with sleet between 2pm and 3pm, then snow showers after 3pm. High near 30. Breezy, with an east wind 10 to 20 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of around an inch possible.

Tonight:
Snow showers, mainly before 11pm. Low around 22. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
