Gooooood morning Boyne Mountain! It’s Kyler, with today’s snow report.
Due to overnight icing conditions, we’re holding off on opening while our grooming crew works the mountain.
Check back for a terrain update we’re targeting 11am, but may have good news sooner.
We’re starting off the day with a messy mix of freezing rain, then periods of snow expected in the afternoon. High around 30° with winds NNE at 10 to 15 mph, gusting as high as 35 mph. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 8pm. Expect about an inch or two of snow for now.
Looking Ahead: More Snow Incoming
Here’s where it gets GOOD. There is an increasing chance for 6+ inches of snow on Friday. Don’t worry, I’m keeping a VERY close eye on this.
Not to jinx anything, but I also see a snowfall forecast in the DOUBLE DIGITS for the weekend.

Sunday – Tuesday: 9am – 4:30pm
Wednesday – Saturday: 9am – 9pm
FIRST TRACKS
For season passholders: Mountain Express opens at 8:30am on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays. Get those fresh corduroy lines before anyone else.

IGLU BOYNE MOUNTAIN
Michigan’s new snow fort bar is open at Disciples Overlook. Fire pits outside, fur blankets inside, and an Aperol Spritz that supports the Boyne Forever Foundation. Access via Disciples 8 or SkyBridge Michigan.
IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDERS
Our snowmaking and grooming teams are actively working on closed terrain throughout the daytime hours. For everyone’s safety, please respect all closure signs and ropes. Great news, uphill skiing and skinning is allowed on designated routes during specific hours.
