TODAY’S BLOG
Happy Weekend! Good Saturday from The Highlands! Folks you’re not gonna want to miss today. We have a lot going on for St. Patrick’s Day weekend and we’ve received at least 10 inches of snow, in the last 24 hours. The sun is supposed to be out at some point today, the winds will be low, and the powder is deep!. Trust us, get out here! The conditions are mid-December if not better, we also have a huge storm coming at us again, Sunday into Monday, some forecasts are calling for another 24 to 30 inches of new snow! Today is the calm before the storm, so get out here and enjoy it! Don’t forget to look at our resort activities, as we have many activities happening today throughout the mountain, and the resort also don’t forget to wear your green, because if you don’t, you might get pinched! Today is also our last true night of night ski where we will be open until 9 PM! So get up, scrape off that car, and take your time getting here, and we’ll see you on the slopes soon!

Anyone with a valid season pass from ANY Michigan ski resort can ski or ride at The Highlands until March 22nd for just $25 per day, no blackouts. Must purchase in person at Resort Services.

The Ski Surface is soft, but there is a good base underneath that. We went from spring conditions to Mid-January conditions overnight.

St. Patrick’s Day Weekend brings together après energy, family-friendly on-hill events, and a few festive favorites to keep the slopes buzzing from morning through evening. Come ski, sip, golf on the slopes, dance to Galactic Sherpas, or just soak up the scene.

Available all weekend long, plus a pop-up outdoor bar to keep the good vibes flowing.

Kids Boardwalk Biathlon
A playful race that mixes obstacles and skiing for our younger mountain adventurers.

Slide & Swing Challenge
A one-of-a-kind alpine golf challenge that blends spring skiing with a little friendly competition.

SNOWMAKING | GROOMING UPDATE
Thank a snowmaker! As of now, we are well covered, and there is no need to make snow. Thanks to them and our 24/7 grooming team, conditions could not get much better.

LIFT TICKETS, RENTAL, & SKI SCHOOL
Before heading to the hill, you should buy your lift tickets online for the lowest rates. Rentals and lessons should be reserved 24 – 48 hours in advance. We now have a Winter Bundle that lets you bundle lift, rental, and a lesson to customize your experience. We want it to be easy. Our Resort Services team is available in the Day Lodge to assist with any needs.

TODAYS WEATHER
Today:
A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 8am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 30. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight:
Snow, mainly after 2am. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 22. Light east wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of around 2 inches.
