Forbush Corner Cross Country Ski Report – 03/14
Today is Founders Day at the Corner and Dave has made sure that we would have plenty of snow to groom and ski to celebrate. The raffle drawing for the Reid Goble fundraiser is also on tap at 10AM. We plan to groom the majority of our trails, tilling in the 4 to 6 inches received over the last few days, putting us back to 100% coverage. Trail passes for non-season pass holders are reduced to $10. A major winter storm is forecast starting late Saturday night and going into Monday for the northern lower and UP. Guess you could say today is the calm before the storm. Check out the weather forecast and stay informed. Open at 9. Gates close at 5.
We expect to look like this again by late Sunday going into next week.

FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing >> Ski trail extensions on Badlands, Cry Baby and Rollercoaster with a forestry mulcher were completed today! The Badlands extension bypasses Two Step hill to create a better flowing trail over undulating terrain and a longer, more gradual climb back into Badlands. On Rollercoaster, the turn at the end of Dorothy’s Dip has been lengthened to allow more run-out after the long downhill before turning back to the trail. On Cry Baby, the hard right turn after a downhill that we added last year, now has a longer runout before returning via a sweeping right hand turn. #forbush #whatsnew #SkiMichigan
