Caberfae Peaks Snow Report – 03/17

LIFTS ARE OPEN TODAY FROM 10 AM TO 5 PM
After the ice storm turned to snow, we received 13″ of natural snow in 24 hours. It is full on winter here and looks beautiful.
The Mountain Ops crew is working to open the lifts safely this morning and will be methodically de-icing the lifts. The East Peak Triple Chair and Green Mountain Flying Carpet will open at 10 am as planned. The crew will then work to open the Vista Triple, followed by the South Peak Triple, which will both have delayed openings. Please be patient with our lift crew and enjoy the snow!

We are currently without power as a result of last night’s ice storm. As a result, the lifts will be closed today, March 16th.

For safety, we are unable to open any lifts today due to high winds. Current and forecasted wind gusts are over 40 mph.
We apologize about the inconvenience. Lift tickets and rentals purchased in advance will be refunded.

We received 9” of a nice and heavy, base building snow in the last 36 hours. The groomers were out all night turning it into beautiful corduroy.
The NWS is calling for partly sunny skies and a high of 35. It will be a great day to be on the hill. Enjoy!
