XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/13
Although it is cold this morning the temps will warm to the low 20’s this afternoon and set the stage for a great afternoon of skiing and the torch light night ski tonight! Ginzu Dana did a yeoman’s job of grooming yesterday and even reset tracks on all the trails, making conditions excellent for classic and skate skiing. Groomer Matt will touch up the skating lanes this morning. We have 9 to 14 inches of snow in the forest and 4 to 8 inches packed on the trails.

Tonight: Variably cloudy with snow showers. Low 9F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 90%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.
Saturday: Windy with on and off snow showers during the morning. High 7F. Winds NNW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 60%.

As a part of Roscommon’s Winterfest, this Friday night from 6 to 8pm the Trappers Cabin trail will be lit by torches, with complimentary hot cocoa at the cabin, plus howling with the coyotes!
Yesterday’s lunch special was so good we are serving it again today! Sourdough Bread Bowl Famous Chili and Veggie Chili. Also on today’s menu is a superb assortment of panini sandwiches made to order.
