XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/19

One good thing about this cooler weather is that the snow pack is holding up very well! We received some snow flurries through out the day yesterday and the extra snow will help Ginzu Dana with this morning’s grooming mission. Groomer Matt reset tracks on the Manitou and Adventure trails yesterday and Ginzu Dana will reset tracks on additional trails today if needed. He will also Ginzu snowcomb all the skating lanes on all the trails. All the trails have excellent skating conditions and very good to excellent classic conditions.

Lynne & Bob skied the Mason Tract yesterday which runs along the beautiful South Branch of the AuSable river. The trail is groomed at least once a week by the Friends of the Mason Tract. It is truly one of Michigan’s great X-C Ski Trails.

Smartwool, Woolrich, Patagonia are still at least 30% off.

Instructor Fran always says “There are no bad weather days just bad clothing days”!
