Michigan Ski Blog – Snow Reports

XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 11/22

As of 6:20 this Sunday morning it is snowing. We have received a total of 2 inches of snow and are forecast to get up to 1 more inch. The snow compacts easily and our hope is to pack the trails to start a base as the ground freezes. Currently we do not have enough snow even for rock skis. Snow shoeing is a viable option. Be sure to wear orange or bright colored clothing if going snowshoeing or into the woods today!

Forecast:

Today: Cloudy skies early, followed by partial clearing. A few flurries or snow showers, up to 1 inch possible. High 29F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy early followed by cloudy skies overnight. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low 21F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

Monday: loudy with snow showers mainly during the morning. High around 35F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 50%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.
