XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/03

Our weekly Saturday 4:00 Free lesson was a big hit. Instructor Mariah shows how its done.

Yesterday was near perfection with sunny skies and fabulous trail conditions for both skate and classic. Early this morning, Ginzu Dana will snowcomb the skating lanes and reset tracks where needed this morning. It will be another fine day of skiing!

Forecast:

Today: High 27F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 40%. Less than 1 inch of accumulation.

Tonight: A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low 8F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow: A few flurries or snow showers possible. High 13F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph.

Today’s lunch special is Get your Fill at the Grill! Choose between a hand made beef burger patty, salmon burger, or black bean burger, and we will grill it to perfection outside on the sun deck. Add cheese and a variety of toppings, or ask for your burger to be prepared “Fire on the Mountain” style, with jalapeños and buffalo blue cheese sauce! Served with Great Lakes potato chips and a pickle.

Matt the cabin boy will be at Trapper’s Cabin today! Stop by and warm up by the fire with some hot cocoa.

Time to demo some skis and shop the sales!!

All the best,

– Bob, Lynne, Mariah, Stu, Matt, Erin, Fran, Brian, Ryan, Kerrigan, Garrett, Gage, Grant and the crew
