Yesterday we had a Pure Michigan XC Ski Morning!

We received another 1 to 2 inches of snow throughout the day yesterday and over night. We were able to reset tracks on all the trails yesterday, and snow comb wide skating lanes. Groomer Henry with Ginzu snow comb all the skating lanes this morning. We now have a base of 9 to 12 inches and 14 to 18 inches of snow in the woods. All trails are in excellent condition, and with the snow clinging onto the trees, it is truly spectacular out there!

Forecast:

Today: Cloudy. Snow showers developing this afternoon. High 26F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 50%.

Tonight: Cloudy with periods of light freezing rain after midnight. Low 22F. Winds ESE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precip 50%.

Friday: Rain, freezing on some surfaces in the morning. Then chance of showers and wet snow in the afternoon. High 36F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precip 50%. Snow showers Friday night, low of 21F.

Saturday: Snow showers will become more widely scattered in the afternoon. High 21F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 40%.

Today’s lunch special is the Turkey Trot Wrap: oven roasted turkey, provolone, spinach, tomato, red onion, mayo and stone ground mustard, rolled into a giant wrap and grilled to hot, melted perfection! Served with Great Lakes Chips and a pickle for a delicious lunch. Of course Famous Chili and Veggie Chili will also be severed with and warm 9 grain roll. Try a giant chocolate chip cookie for dessert… you may never be the same!

The Winter Wonderland Sale is underway with great values on winter outerwear and XC skis, boots and XC ski packages.

Plenty of snow and great grooming will make today a fine day to go XC skiing!
