Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail Cross Country Ski Report – 01/13
The Fresh snow has dropped a soft white blanket across the region and the grooming crew is on it.
The crew will be out this morning between Glen Arbor and DH Day Campground and tomorrow between DH Day Campground and Empire.
The trail north of Glen Arbor is NOT groomed but is open for back country skiing. You just have to cut your own trail. This section of trail intersects with the Bay View Trail north of the Homestead Resort.
Ski to the upper Bay View trail for some great views of Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear Point, and the Manitou Islands!
