Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 01/14

Another powder day? Well we are in the middle of a powder WEEK! Mother Nature has provided us with over 30 inches of snow and allowed us to fire the BOYNE Low-E fan guns for over 100 hours since the beginning of the new year! On top of that, the forecast is calling for an additional 10-16″ in the next 72 hours! There’s no doubt we’re skiing and riding with the best conditions of the season to date, so grab the gear and grab the next chair!

We’re offering over 230 skiable acres spread across 36 different runs today, and plan to open more terrain this weekend! Lifts are spinning today from 9am-9pm, so come out early and take advantage of the pristine conditions, or come out later and ride into the night under the lights! No worries for you nightriders, we will make fresh corduroy for you too. For today’s prices, be sure to visit our lift ticket page.

Looking ahead: Our outstanding snowmaking and grooming teams are taking full advantage of this storm to get more terrain open for skiing and riding! Snowmaking continues at every opportunity and we plan on having over 400 acres of skiable terrain available this weekend! Enjoy exploring the Disciples ridge area, as well as Superbowl!

Eager to get some air? Our Terrain Park crew is working hard in the Ramshead park – pushing out snow and setting features. We are aiming to officially open the park as early as this weekend. We will be building our N. McLouth and Boyneland parks as soon as we are able.

Off the slopes: Don’t forget about Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark! With 88,000 square feet of wet and wild fun for all ages, the park stays at a toasty 84 degrees year-round! Schedule a Zipline Adventure Tour to see the resort from a whole different angle! We have tons of great ways to have fun here at Boyne Mountain Resort!
