Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 01/16

As promised, we have BIG news to share! Mother Nature has dropped over 30″ of fresh snow on us since the beginning of the year, and our amazing snowmaking teams fired the BOYNE Low-E fan guns for well over 100 hours! Because we now have SO much snow, we are serving up 410 skiable acres spread across 57 runs! And to make the matter even sweeter, the forecast is calling for 8-12″ of fresh powder this weekend! Time to pack the car and get to the slopes! Our Top Notch Tubing Park will also be opening with two lanes at noon!

Carve up our endless carpets of corduroy by catching our first chair at 9am and ski or ride well into the night! We will even resurface some of the terrain and provide some fresh corduroy right before our night session.

Park riders: The Ramshead Terrain Park is now open! We are offering 12 features including some unique rails, boxes, pipe jibs, and a kicker! We also have had plenty of fresh snow to fill in the Transfer Station park- get creative and pick your line through our natural features!

Off the slopes: Don’t forget about Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark! With 88,000 square feet of wet and wild fun for all ages, the park stays at a toasty 84 degrees year-round! Schedule a Zipline Adventure Tour to see the resort from a whole different angle! We have tons of great ways to have fun here at Boyne Mountain Resort!
