XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/28
As of 7am this morning we were getting some light snow and it was 29 degrees. The forecast for today is for possible patchy freezing drizzle early and then snow this morning will give way to lingering snow showers this afternoon. High 34F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 80%. About one inch of snow expected. Groomer Henry will start grooming at dawn and will Ginzu groom all the skating lanes and reset fresh tracks where needed. We now have a 8 to 11 inch base and there is 14 to 18 inches of snow in the woods. By 10 am the trails will be well groomed and in very good to excellent condition.

Saturday: Snow showers before noon. Becoming partly cloudy later. High 38F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 60%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.
