Ginzu Dana set deep tracks before the the fresh snowfall that, even with the fresh snow in them, will serve classic skiers well today!

The good news is that we received 3 to 4 inches of great dense snow last evening. The bad news is that we received rain after the snow. We now have 3 inches of very saturated new snow. With the forecast for temperatures to stay above freezing until 7 this evening we have decided that grooming the trails today would do more harm than good. Deep set tracks remain so the classic skiing will be just fine today. Skate skiing will be a challenge! Trails have a 9 to 12 inch base and there is 13 to 16 inches of snow in the woods.

Today: Cloudy with rain and snow showers this morning. Snow showers for the afternoon. High 37F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of precip 60%.

Tonight: Cloudy. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low 21F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph.

Thursday: Overcast. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High 26F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday night: Cloudy with snow showers mainly during the evening. Low 17F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 40%
