XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/08
We had a great weekend of skiing, with plenty of sunshine and blue skies yesterday. It got plenty cold enough last night, so Groomer Henry will have great results snow combing the skating lanes and resetting fresh tracks where needed early this morning. We have a 10 to 13 inch base and there is 14 to 19 inches of snow in the woods on all 8 trails. Conditions are great!
Forecast:
Today: Morning fog, then cloudy this afternoon. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High around 35F. Winds light and variable.
Tonight: Variable clouds with snow showers or flurries. Low 26F. Winds NNW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 50%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.
Tuesday: Occasional snow showers. High 28F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 50%. About one inch of snow expected.
Our lunch special today is the Rocky Mountain Chipotle Veggie Wrap! Spinach, tomato, red onion, bell peppers, banana peppers, homemade hummus, provolone and swiss cheese, with chipotle mayo in a giant wrap! Grilled to perfection by chef Ryan and served with Great Lakes Potato Chips and a pickle. Perfect if you ate too many chicken wings at last night’s Super Bowl.
Don’t miss the Winter Wonderland Sale, with great deals on closeout skis, boots, and clothing!
It’s another great day to XC ski!
