The fresh snow surely helps improve the track setting results!

We received lake effect snow showers through out the day yesterday and last evening, just what groomer Henry needs this morning to Ginzu groom the skating lanes with and to set deeper and better tracks with. We have a 9 to 13 inch base and there is 12 to 16 inches of snow in the woods. On all 8 trails the skating lanes are wide, smooth and excellent, and classic tracks are very good.

Forecast:

Today: Scattered snow showers during the morning. Then partly to mostly cloudy this afternoon. High 18F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 30%.

Friday: Variable clouds with snow showers. High 16F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 50%. About one inch of snow expected.

Saturday: Overcast. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High 6F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph.

Today’s lunch special is: Bob’s Favorite Tuna Panini: albacore tuna, sliced black olives, jalapenos, sliced tomatoes and spinach grilled to hot, delicious perfection on ciabatta and served with Great Lakes chips and a pickle. It’s no wonder Bob likes this sandwich so much! Classic chili and Veggie chili will also be served as well as our additional panini choices, jumbo muffins and cookies.
