ABR Trails Cross Country Ski Report – 03/09

The skiing yesterday was very good spring skiing conditions! There are no bare spots and no ice on what we groomed. We did see some water flowing across Cherry Dairy.

Conditions this week and weekend: I see that we are past the warm evening temps for a few days which will help keep the Montreal River from rising and flooding some of the trails!

I see us grooming 15-50 km/day thru the weekend. We are running the Pisten Bully on the combo trails and even with above freezing temps the PB can till up the corn snow and make a nice ski surface.

We are planning on having the Taste of the Trails this Saturday from 12-2; we have 5 restaurants signed up so far. We will allow snow shoeing on the ski trails during the Taste of the Trails event. We expect to close for the season Sunday at 5 PM, March 13th.
