Boyne Highlands Snow Report – 11/20
Yesterday, the race against the clock began for our snowmaking crews as we plan to open Thanksgiving Day. The first snow guns started up yesterday evening and they don’t plan on stopping. Mother Nature provided around 2 inches of natural snow and cold temperatures to help boost their effort.
The next few days are crucial to the success of our crew and so far we are looking good. Temperatures are predicted to stay steadily cold allowing for decent snowmaking conditions for crews to work with. More natural snow is in the forecast to fall in trace amounts.
We are still hopeful about a Thanksgiving Day opener so be on the look out for the latest updates on our efforts and conditions here and on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Keep snow and cold in your thoughts!
