Greetings from Higgins Lake! We had a very good weekend for snow, receiving over 9″ since Friday. Ginzu Dana snow combed all the skating lanes multiple times yesterday just trying to keep up with the accumulating snow. He was also able to roll in tracks on Trappers Cabin and Rolling Hills trails at the very end of the day.

We received another 1-2″ of snow last night, and so Dana will be snow combing all the skate lanes again early this morning, and then rolling in tracks on all the trails. We now have the packed snow depth to say that rock skis are not necessary. Ski season has officially arrived!

Today: Mainly cloudy with snow showers around this morning. High 31F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 40%.

Tonight: Cloudy skies with a few snow showers after midnight. Low near 20F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 40%.

Tuesday: Snow showers early. Peeks of sunshine later. High around 20F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 40%.
