Greeting from Higgins Lake! The skate lanes have firmed up nicely giving us a good base to work with for the season, and the classic tracks remain in good/great shape. Last night we received a heavy dusting which will result in great skating and classic conditions, with a little more snow is in the forecast for today. Groomer Brian will snowcomb all the skate lanes early this morning. Though it will be a cold one today, it is always warmer skiing through woods.

Forecast:

Today: Snow showers. High near 15F. Winds WSW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 50%. About one inch of snow expected.

Tonight: Occasional snow showers. Low around 5F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 60%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.

Thursday: Occasional snow showers. High around 15F. Winds W at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 40%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.
