Shanty Creek Snow Report – 12/16

IT’S OPENING DAY!
In fact, it’s our Biggest. Opening. Ever.

Schuss Mountain:
68% of our skiable terrain is open today, with all of the yellow, purple and magic carpet pods available. The word of the day today is SNOW. Over a foot has fallen in the last 2 days and close to 4 feet of snow has fallen this past week at the resort. Our snowmakers have been hard at work, with around-the-clock-snowmaking for the past 10 days (and more snowmaking weather is forecasted thru next week).

A temporary terrain park has been set up on Mellow Yellow and the Natty Park is currently open on natural snow.

To celebrate opening day, we’re hosting our annual Sardine Special from 9a-9p. Pay only $59 for a carload of lift tickets.

Nordic Center Update:
All of our Nordic trails at Schuss Village have been rolled and the Pinecone Trail has been groomed.
