Overall, we had an absolutely great weekend for skiing with plenty of snow, torch-lit skiing, and Santa at the cabin – and Winter hasn’t even officially begun! Tracks were set yesterday on Tall Pines, Rolling Hills, Mackinac Cut, Wild Turkey and Adventure, and are in great shape. Ginzu Dana will snowcomb all the skating lanes early this morning, and then roll in new tracks on the Trappers Cabin and Manitou Trail. We have a 6 to 8 inch packed base, and 12 to 15 inches of snow in the woods. Most people coming in after skiing are saying “mid winter conditions” and that sure does sound good to us.

Forecast:

Today: Sunshine and clouds mixed. A few flurries are possible. High around 20F. Winds SSW at 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies. Low 14F. Winds SSW at 10 to 20 mph.

Tuesday: Cloudy and becoming windy. High 29F. Winds SW at 20 to 30 mph. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.
