SNOWCAT SKIING OPERATES ON SATURDAYS and other days by demand

Groomer Bill has been out grooming on Thursday and has the hill in beautiful shape for the weekend! The chalet is open with hot food. Equipment rentals available for downhill, cross country and snowshoeing.

The down hill ski area is open Friday and Monday 10:30 am – 4:30 pm as well and Saturday and Sunday from 09:30 am – 4 pm eastern time. Tickets are 2 for 1 daily @ $48.00. Base is up to 30”.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING & SNOWSHOEING –

LANTERN LIGHT SKI / SNOWSHOE TRAIL – THIS IS THE LAST ONE FOR THE SEASON! Join park naturalist Bob Wild, this Saturday from 6:30 pm – 9 pm eastern time, on the Superior Loop trail. Both skiers and snowshoers are welcome. He’ll have hot drinks waiting at the campfire, half way around the loop! FUN AND FREE!

Ranger Rick is reporting good trail conditions! He laid track on the entire system on Wednesday and Thursday. He advises warm daytime temps and below zero nighttime temps could create slow conditions in the afternoon and fast/icy in the morning. Otherwise, the trails are fully covered and in great shape.

The entire park is open to both cross country skiing and snowshoeing off trail. The Porkies welcomes snowshoers on the cross country ski trails as long as you do not destroy the tracks.

BACKPACK CAMPING – permits are required & available, register upon arrival at the park. Fee is $14.00 per night for each
