Greetings from Higgins Lake! After a long day out on the trails yesterday, Ginzu Dana was able to dice up and soften the frozen hard-pack that had resulted from the thaw & freeze from Monday night. We also had Trail Doctors Garrett and Grant out on the trails all day yesterday cleaning up the twigs that Monday night’s wind storm left scattered on the trails. It was a hard day’s work, but the results were a success, and many skiers were happy for it! We were also lucky to have a dusting of snow yesterday afternoon to help freshen up the trails. Dana was also able to set new tracks on all the trails. Groomer George will snow comb all the skating lanes this morning. It will be a fine day for skiing, with well-set tracks, and fast (but not icy) skating lanes.

Tonight: Variably cloudy with snow showers. Low 28F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 40%.

Tomorrow: Variable clouds with snow showers. Temps nearly steady around 30. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 50%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.
