Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 01/01

Happy New Year! Start the year off right with a clean slate of corduroy and fresh snow, ready to be carved. We are 100% open, so take on 60 runs, 12 lifts, and 415 acres of your favorite mountain today and set the pace for an awesome year of skiing and riding.

With the fresh snow that dumped on us this weekend, our terrain park crew will be shaping Ramshead Terrain park early this week to try to have it open with awesome features as soon as possible. They’ve worked hard in the past few weeks to open and maintain Transfer Station, Hemlock Temporary Park, Fritz’s Park, and North McLouth.

Cold temperatures are moving in late this week, which will allow our snowmaking crews to fire up the Boyne Low-E fan guns and pile up even more snow.

January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month! On January 6, we will be breaking records for the World’s Largest Lesson! Sign up and participate in this record-breaking event–and learn to ski or ride in the process.

For the latest updates and events, check out our website and our social media pages! See you out there!
