Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 01/03

Shed a layer and enjoy one more day of mild temperatures before cooler weather sets in on Wednesday. Run counts have been trimmed back to 49 of 60 today while we work to install additional lights along Meadows – don’t worry there’s still 350 acres of slopes waiting to be carved.  We are hoping to turn on the lights to 25 additional acres of night skiing terrain before the weekend!

Our terrain park crew will be shaping Ramshead Terrain Park early this week with plans to open it as soon as possible. They’ve worked hard in the past few weeks to open and maintain Transfer Station, Hemlock Temporary Park, Fritz’s Park, and North McLouth.

Our snowmaking crews plans to fire up the Boyne Low-E fan guns starting tomorrow and lay out a fresh coat of white along Disciples and Superbowl, then add more to the Tubing Park.

January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month! On January 6, we will be breaking records for the World’s Largest Lesson! Sign up and participate in this record-breaking event–and learn to ski or ride in the process.
