Enjoying an apres ski fire on the sundeck on a not so warm day is true Pure Michigan fun!

The Lake Michigan snow machine was in full production mode yesterday! Although we did not get as much lake effect snow as some areas north of us, we received just what was needed to give Ginzu Dana something to work with this morning. Dana will Ginzu snow comb the skating lanes and reset the tracks for a great day of skiing! We have a 7 to 9 inch packed base and 12 to 15 inches of snow in the woods.

Forecast:

Today: Occasional snow showers. High near 10F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 50%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches.
Tonight: Variable clouds with snow showers. Low 3F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 40%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.
Friday: Snow showers early with a chance of lingering snow showers later. High 12F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 40%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.
Friday Night: Mostly cloudy skies. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low around 5F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.
Saturday: Cloudy. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High 14F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday Night: Variably cloudy with snow showers. Low 6F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 60%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches.

The Stone Turtle Day Lodge lunch special today is Bob’s Favorite Tuna Panini. Albacore tuna, spinach, onion, sliced jalapeños, black olives, mayo and provolone cheese grilled to perfection on a ciabatta bun, served with a pickle spear and kettle cooked chips.
