The energy and endurance kids have is amazing!

The trails groomed up well yesterday with Ginsu snowcombed skating lanes that were ideal for good speed in these cooler conditions. The tracks were not set as deeply as we like due to the hard pack underneath, but Ginzu Dana will keep working on them this morning as well as re -grooming all the skating lanes. We have a 7 to 9 inch packed base and 12 to 15 inches in the woods. Skating conditions are excellent and classic conditions are very good.

Today: Partly cloudy skies this morning will become overcast during the afternoon. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High 13F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy this evening, then becoming cloudy after midnight. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low 4F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: Snow flurries and snow showers. High 12F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 40%.
Saturday Night: Snow in the evening will give way to lingering snow showers overnight. Low 7F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 60%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches.

Sunday: Partly cloudy skies during the morning hours will become overcast in the afternoon. High 17F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

The Stone Turtle Day Lodge lunch special was a huge hit yesterday so we will repeat for today! Bob’s Favorite Tuna Panini. Albacore tuna, spinach, onion, sliced jalapeños, black olives, mayo and provolone cheese grilled to perfection on a ciabatta roll, served with a pickle spear and kettle cooked chips. XC Ski HQ Famous Chili will also be served along with numerous other panini options and specials.
