Shanty Creek Snow Report – 01/06

It’s a beautiful day on the slopes today with 1-3″ of light snow in the forecast and highs around 14 degrees. We’ve received 12+” of new snow in the last 48 hours with up to 6″ more in the forecast for this weekend.

Join us this afternoon for the World’s Largest Ski lesson at Schuss Mountain at 1p.

Schuss Mountain:
Surface snow conditions are machine groomed with a base of up to 48″. All 42 slopes are available today with the purple, pink, red and magic carpet servicing these runs.

The Low Rider Terrain Park, Natty Park and our Monster Park are all available today.

Nordic Trails:
All 35km of our Nordic trails were groomed and trackset this morning.

NOTE: The Yellow Lift will be closed this morning with expectations to be up and running later this afternoon. Therefore five runs will be closed until the lift is running again: Chickens Choice, Mellow Yellow, Good Knight, Sally’s Alley, and Espresso.

We recognize this affects your Schuss Mountain experience so all lift tickets purchased today will also receive a $10 coupon for Ivan’s or The River Bistro*.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
