The Manitou Trail looks especially enticing at dusk!

We received another dusting of snow overnight, and are forecast to receive another 3+ inches throughout today and tonight. Ginzu Dana is out snow combing the skating lanes and resetting tracks where needed as of early this morning. We now have a 9 to 11 inch packed base and 14 to 17 inches of snow in the woods. Conditions for skating and classic are marvelous!

Forecast:

Today: Mainly cloudy with snow showers around this morning. High 26F. Winds SSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 40%.

Tonight: Periods of snow. Low 22F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 100%. 3 to 5 inches of snow expected.

Tomorrow: Snow during the morning will give way to a mixture of rain and snow during the afternoon. Some mixed winter precipitation possible. High 39F. Winds S at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of precip 100%. Snow accumulating 3 to 5 inches.

The Stone Turtle Day Lodge lunch special today is the Classic Hammy Sammy! Roasted ham, swiss cheese, stone ground mustard and sliced tomato on Stone House Sourdough Bread, grilled to perfection by Chef Logan and served with Great Lakes chips and a pickle. Don’t forget to try a jumbo blueberry muffin if you need some extra fuel.
