Longtime friends enjoying all the snow at HQ.

Greetings from Higgins Lake! Yesterday we received four inches of snow throughout the day, giving Ginzu Dana plenty of work snow-combing all day long, and setting new tracks with excellent results. This morning Ginzu Dana will snow comb all the trails again. We now have a 8 to 11 inch packed base and 12 to 16 inches of snow in the woods. Conditions are excellent for skating and classic skiing on all 8 trails!

Forecast:

Today: Scattered snow showers during the morning. Then partly to mostly cloudy this afternoon. High 18F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 30%.

Tonight: Considerable cloudiness. Low 6F. Winds light and variable.

Tomorrow: A few flurries possible early. Partly cloudy. High 28F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

The Stone Turtle Day Lodge lunch special is the Classic Hammy Sammy. Oven roasted ham, swiss cheese, tomato and mustard, grilled to perfection on rustic sourdough bread. Served with kettle cooked potato chips and a pickle.
Remember: Full Moon Night Skiing tonight from 6 till 8pm, and the Gourmet Mac ‘n Cheese Bar on Saturday and Sunday.
