XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/17

This family drove up from Ohio to spend the weekend XC skiing together!

We had a wonderful Martin Luther King Jr. day of skiing yesterday, which was a perfect way to wrap up the holiday weekend. However, we received freezing rain and ice pellets over night, and the forecast is for warmer and wetter temps. In an effort to preserve the snowpack that we have, we will not be grooming today.

Forecast:

Today: Rain ending this morning. Remaining cloudy. Areas of freezing rain possible. Temps nearly steady in the low to mid 30s. Winds NE at 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Cloudy this evening then becoming foggy and damp after midnight. Low 29F. Winds light and variable.

Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy skies with some morning fog. High 39F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

The Stone Turtle Day Lodge lunch special is Chili Mac! A scoop of homemade mac ‘n cheese with Stone House breadcrumbs, topped with your choice of classic or veggie chili, and served with a warm multi grain roll. A hearty lunch indeed!
We have many great sales on both ski equipment and softgoods. Stop in or call to start shopping!

All the best,

-Mariah, Stu, Bob, Lynne, Fran, Erin, Ryan, Matt, Michelle, George, Lexi, Dana, Gage, Grant, Garrett, Logan, Kerrigan, Heidi, Jim, James, Shania and the Crew
