ABR Trails Cross Country Ski Report – 01/23

We had another good day of spring skiing conditions.

We groomed and reset tracks on about 20 km today with our 3 man crew. The trails are skiing well but have Spring skiing conditions.

We did spend a few hours cleaning up some of the debris brought up by the PB’s over the weekend.

We are re-grooming the main tails in the morning and heading to check the Highlands in the AM and beef up any areas that may be thin on the down hills to the south. The classic only trails are skiing OK but have not been re-groomed today.

We have 50 km of trails open for skiing. And we plan to reopen the other 23 km by Thursday or Friday.

After a nice weekend of skiing we regroomed about 20k of trails this morning. We’re making a silk purse out of a sows ear! Both skating and classic skiing were good today. Our south trails will be closed during the week, but will be reopened this weekend after we get colder temps.
