Shanty Creek Snow Report – 01/26

Winter has returned. With 3″ of accumulation overnight and up to 2 inches of snow in the forecast for today, the slopes are freshening up quite nicely. Highs today will be around 32 degrees. Temperatures are anticipated to dip down below freezing tonight, which will allow us to turn on our snow guns and fill in a few thin areas from our recent winter warm up.

Schuss Mountain:
Surface snow conditions are machine groomed with a base of up to 60″. All 40 slopes are available today with the magic carpet, yellow, purple, pink and red lifts servicing these runs. The Low Rider Terrain Park, Natty Park and our Monster Park are all available as well.

Nordic Trails:
All 35km of our Nordic trails were groomed early last week. We wil will be track set again with temperatures cool off enough to hold the set. We continue to monitor the trails every morning, so stay tuned.
