It is always great to see couples try skate skiing together!

We ended up with almost 5 inches of snow throughout the last 36 hours, which Ginzu Dana packed all throughout the day yesterday. He has been out since dawn this morning grooming it up, and we expect fantastic results. He will snow comb the skating lanes and set fresh tracks on all 8 trails. Great, mid-winter conditions have returned to XC Ski HQ!

Today: Variable clouds with snow showers. High around 30F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 90%.

Tonight: Occasional snow showers. Low 24F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 60%.

Tomorrow: Variable clouds with snow showers. High 29F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 70%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.

Today’s Stone Turtle Cafe lunch special is the Deluxe Pizza Panini! Ham, pepperoni, mushrooms, banana peppers, marinara sauce, and mozzarella, served hot between two slices of toasted Stone House Sourdough Bread. Served with Great Lakes Chips and a pickle. We also have some delicious, fresh baked chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies, plus an assortment of homemade muffins!

Grill Cook George Frye will make a special appearance on the Stone Turtle Day Lodge Sun Deck to Fire Grill your choice of Salmon Burgers, Lean Beef Burgers or Black Bean Veggie Burgers, all available in the famously spicy Fire on the Mountain style.
