Shanty Creek Snow Report – 01/28

With 6″ of new snow since Wednesday, the slopes are in amazing condition! It’s a beautiful winter day at Shanty Creek Resorts!

Schuss Mountain:
Surface snow conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with a base of up to 60″. 40 slopes are available today with the magic carpet, yellow, purple, pink and red lifts servicing these runs. The Low Rider Terrain Park, Natty Park and our Monster Park are all available as well. Please note, there will be some lane closures on the face as we prepare for the Traverse City Central Invitational on Monday.

Schuss Mountain:
Eight runs and 3 lifts are available at Summit Mountain today, with the Magic Carpet, Tow Rope and Green Double chair available. The Downland Mini-Terrain Park has 2 features available and is located near the Downland Tow Rope.

Nordic Trails:
With the new snow, the Pine Cone trail was groomed with the Tidd Tech. We will continue to groom as conditions on the trails improve with the new snow.
