The skiing yesterday was simply wonderful. The trees are still covered in fresh white snow, and Ginz Dana groomed the trails beautifully for classic and skating. After a light dusting of snow last night, Groomer George will begin snow combing skating lanes early this morning. Firm tracks were set yesterday, and should be in great shape again today. It’s a perfect weekend to get outside and enjoy Pure Michigan’s finest cross country skiing!

Tonight: Occasional snow showers. Low 14F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 50%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.

Tomorrow: Snow showers. High 24F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 50%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.

Today’s Stone Turtle Cafe lunch special is Get Your Fill at the Grill, Saturday and Sunday from Noon until 3:00pm! Grill Cook George Frye will make a special appearance on the Stone Turtle Day Lodge Sun Deck to Fire Grill your choice of Salmon Burgers, Lean Beef Burgers or Black Bean Veggie Burgers, all available in the famously spicy Fire on the Mountain style.
