Shanty Creek Snow Report – 01/31

With 6″ of new snow falling over the weekend, conditions on the slopes are great! Today’s weather forecast calls for cloudy skies with highs around 29 degrees.

Schuss Mountain:
Surface snow conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with a base of up to 60″. 40 slopes are available today with the magic carpet, yellow, purple, pink and red lifts servicing these runs. The Low Rider Terrain Park and Natty Park are available today.

The Monster Terrain Park is currently closed for snowmaking and it’s new build on Friday will be the best set up yet.

Nordic Trails:
The new snowfall has really freshened up the Nordic trails, we were able to groom the entire 35k trail system yesterday. We will be concentrating efforts on grooming the trails that will be part of the White Pine Stampede as we approach the big race this weekend.
