Shanty Creek Snow Report – 02/03

Another inch of snow in the last 24 hours and another inch in the forecast early this morning. Today’s weather forecast calls for snow early, transitioning to cloudy skies in the afternoon. Highs will be near 17 degrees.

Schuss Mountain:
Surface snow conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with a base of up to 60″. 40 slopes are available today with the magic carpet, yellow, purple, pink and red lifts servicing these runs. The Low Rider Terrain Park and Natty Park are available today.

Come check out the Monster Park! We made snow all week for an epic new park build, which is being unveiled today. See you there!

Summit Mountain:
100% of our runs are open today from 5-10pm. The black lift is opening for the season tonight, with three of our favorite black diamonds to go with it!

Nordic Trails:
The new snowfall has really freshened up the Nordic trails, we were able to groom the entire 35k trail system yesterday. We’ll be focusing our grooming efforts on the trails for the White Pine Stampede tomorrow.

Please note, parts of the Shanty Creek Nordic Trail system will be closed until mid-afternoon on Saturday until the White Pine Stampede is over. More details about trail closures will be available tomorrow.
