Great skiing weekends like this may inspire the need for a new t-shirt!

It was a fun-packed day at XC Ski HQ yesterday, with almost the full fleet of rental ski equipment taken out to the trails by people from Michigan, Chicago, Nashville and beyond. The sun was out for most of the day, making it about as perfect of a day imaginable. We received a light dusting of snow overnight, and Ginzu Dana has begun snow combing the skating lanes and resetting tracks where needed on all trails early this morning. We have a 10 to 12 inch base, with 18 to 22 inches of snow in the woods.

Forecast:

Today: A few snow showers scattered about the area this morning, otherwise a good deal of clouds. High 28F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 40%.

Tonight: Cloudy skies. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low 12F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow: Cloudy. High 34F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.
