Fettewah tried skate skiing for the first time yesterday, and like most kids, was a complete natural right away!

Another fine weekend of cross country skiing is in the books! Conditions remain extremely good, with a few regulars claiming “best of season” conditions yesterday. We received a dusting of snow throughout the day yesterday, and Ginzu Dana will snow comb the skating lanes and reset tracks where needed on all trails this morning. We have a 10 to 12 inch base, with 18 to 22 inches of snow in the woods.

Forecast:

Today: Overcast. High near 35F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: Cloudy with periods of light freezing rain after midnight. Low 27F. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precip 50%.

Tomorrow: Freezing rain in the morning. High 36F. Winds E at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precip 90%.

Today’s Stone Turtle Cafe Lunch Special is the Rocky Mountain Chipotle Veggie Panini! Provolone, swiss, house-made hummus, bell peppers, spinach, banana peppers, red onion and tomato, with chipotle mayo on Stone House 7-grain bread. Add some Great Lakes chips and a pickle and you’ll finally feel satisfied.
