Trapper’s Cabin is quite a welcome site on the weekends!

The trails remain in excellent condition, with firm, smooth skating lanes and nice classic tracks. With some drizzle in the forecast this afternoon, and with the snow still in great shape from yesterday’s grooming efforts, we have decided not to groom this morning to preserve the cold snow pack. We have a 10 to 12 inch base, with 18 to 22 inches of snow in the woods.

Forecast:

Today: Light freezing rain this morning changing to rain for the afternoon. High 34F. Winds ENE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precip 90%.

Tonight: Rain and snow this evening. Overcast overnight. Low around 20F. Winds WNW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 50%. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.

Tomorrow: Cloudy. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High near 20F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph.
