No matter what the snow conditions are snowshoers always have too much fun!

Winter has returned! Not in a big way but all the ground is white now. So far as of 6 am we have received upwards of 2 inches of heavy snow and are forecast to get more before the wintery mix turns to a more liquid state. We will not be able to groom the trails until the temps cool tonight. We still have a good base on all the trails except the Tall Pines trail so if the snow holds and the temps cool we will have groomed snow on 7 trails for tomorrow’s skiing!

Forecast:

Today: A mix of wintry precipitation this morning will give way to showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Thunder possible. High 36F. Winds ENE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of precip 100%. Snow and ice accumulations less than one inch.

Tonight: Occasional rain. Some snow showers mixing in overnight. Low 29F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precip 70%.

Saturday: Occasional snow showers. High 29F. Winds W at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 50%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.

Saturday Night: Cloudy skies early, then partly cloudy after midnight. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low 19F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph.

Sunday: Partly cloudy early, then some snow showers later in the day. High 37F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 40%.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy skies. Low 23F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph.
