Crystal Mountain Snow Report – 03/30

Don’t let a little overcast put a lid on your plans to hit the slopes. With 35 runs looking like white ribbons embracing the hills, there’s ample base for spring skiing on machine groomed conditions. Lifts are open from 9am-4:30pm; the North Face lift runs from 10am-4pm. Check out the skier/rider cross course over on the North Face, where rolling terrain over waves of white make schussing downhill a blast. The Ridge and Backyard lifts are closed for the season, but the Crystal Clipper, Buck, Loki and carpet tow lifts all operate from 9am-4:30pm daily.

Enjoy reduced lift rates of $39/adults and $29/jrs & srs. Four-hour tickets are $29/adults, $19 jrs & srs. Rental rates are $20, any age. Lift ticket and rental combo is $59/adults, $49/jrs & srs. (Rates are not valid in conjunction with any other discount).

LOCAL’S LIFT TICKET DEAL: If you’re not heading south for spring break, you’ll want to head to the slopes. From Monday, March 27 through Sunday, April 2, residents of Benzie, Grand Traverse, Manistee, Leelanau and Wexford counties can ski for just $25 per adult, and $15 for juniors (7-17) and seniors (60-70). Rentals are $15 per person. And get this – a lesson is just $39 for three hours. School yourself on what you’ve accomplished this winter, and take home some tips for next year! Residents of these five counties can show their driver’s license or school ID at the ticket window to take advantage of these rates, on March 27 – April 2.
