Shanty Creek Snow Report – 12/14
UPDATED DECEMBER 14
Schuss Mountain will be reopening daily for the season tomorrow, Friday, December 15th at 9a.
The Lake Effect machine has been in full force this week… it has snowed every day for eight days! We received 4-6” of new snow just yesterday.
The weather forecast is still conducive for around-the-clock snowmaking, which has kept our mountain crew busy making snow all for the past nine days!
Because of their efforts, we believe we will be able to open the entire front of the mountain this weekend from Pink Schussycat to Mellow Yellow, plus the purple pod and magic carpet areas on the back of the mountain. We estimate about 67% of our terrain will be available this weekend, with new terrain opening daily.

While others boast six-for-this or five-for-that, on December 15 pack as many friends, family members, neighbors and anyone else you can find into your car and head to Schuss Mountain. Everyone in your vehicle skis or rides for just $50 per carload. It’s the best value on the slopes!
