XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 12/14
We received roughly 2 inches of snow yesterday, and the trails are in the best shape yet. Ginzu Dana snowcombed all the trails yesterday afternoon during the snowfall, and Groomer Butch started snowcombing this morning around 8:00am. He will also be attempting to roll in classic tracks. More snow is in the forecast for tomorrow, which should put us in great shape for the weekend!
Forecast:
Today: A mix of clouds and sun early followed by cloudy skies this afternoon. High 21F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies this evening will give way to occasional snow showers overnight. Low 14F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 50%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.
Friday: Snow showers. High 24F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 70%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.
Today’s Stone Turtle Day Lodge Cafe is the Cubano Panini! Honey glazed ham, oven roasted turkey, swiss cheese, dill pickle slices, mayo and Dijon mustard come together on a crusty ciabatta bun. Served with Great Lakes Chips and a pickle!

Bring your own skis or snowshoes, or rent for a nominal cost.
