Shanty Creek Snow Report – 12/16

It’s a beautiful day at Schuss Mountain today! After a our slopes opened daily for the season, the lake effect machine kept dumping and dumping throughout the day, for accumulations of over 6″. Added to the 4″ ew received the day before, it is snowy goodness at Schuss!

Today’s weather forecast calls for cloudy skies with highs around 17 degrees. The slopes have been groomed to a beautiful corduroy and are a beautiful packed powder, thanks to the hard work of our mountain crew. The weather forecast is still conducive for snowmaking, which we will continue to do as we are able.

TERRAIN PARK UPDATE:
The Purple Daze terrain park is now open for the season! There are 10 features available today.

NORDIC TRAIL UPDATE:
All of our Nordic trails have been rolled with the exception of trails near the red chairlift (we’re making snow in that area). Trail passes are currently $5 and we will attempt to to groom with the Tidd Tech as the snow allo
