Shanty Creek Snow Report – 12/17

Today’s weather forecast calls for cloudy skies with highs around 28 degrees. Today will be a very comfortable day on the slopes, with perfectly groomed packed powder corduroy to greet skiers and boarders.

The magic carpet pink purple, yellow and blue chairs are available today servicing 27 runs.

And thanks to the hardwork of our snowmakers, we were able to wrap up our snowmaking efforts at Schuss Mountain last night, and we will be spending the day pushing out the piles of snow for the red pod opening on Monday. That means 100% of our groomable terrain will be available beginning on Monday.

TERRAIN PARK UPDATE:
The Purple Daze terrain park has 10 features available today.

NORDIC TRAIL UPDATE:
All of our Nordic trails have been rolled and trackset with the exception of trails near the red chairlift. Trail passes are currently $10. For the the most up to date trail conditions, please call the Nordic Center at 231.533.3000, x 4300.
