Today’s weather forecast calls for occasional snow showers with highs around 25 degrees. Winds will be light and variable with the chance of snow around 40%. Snow accumulations are anticipated to be less than one inch.

Schuss Mountain will be open from 9a-4:30p today with the magic carpet, pink purple, yellow and red chairs will be available, servicing ALL of its 42 of runs. SCHUSS MOUNTAIN IS 100% OPEN.

TERRAIN PARK UPDATE:
The Purple Daze terrain park has 10 features available. The Low Rider beginner terrain park located near the Schuss Day Lodge is also available.

NORDIC TRAIL UPDATE:
Trails remain open with difficult conditions, Pine Cone Trail is the best.

The real news is that we have debuted our “King of the Hill” trail. THIS TRAIL IS 100% COVERED BY SNOWMAKING AND WILL BE OPEN ALL SEASON – EVEN THRU DIFFICULT WEATHER PERIODS. The trail starts at the base of Schuss Mountain, goes up Chicken’s Choice, short down Salley’s Alley, up River Run, up Village Way to Queens Corner and then down Belle’s Bottom to the start point.

The trail is identified by orange dots on our trail map and is marked in the snow – the trail is groomed daily (no track set).
